Good to know
Add fish slowly anyway — a seeded floor handles a normal stocking, not a full tank on day one.

Beautiful!
I'm attaching pictures of when I first added it to my already cycled five gallon tank, and how it looked after a few hours, then how it looked after about six hours. It looks almost clear now! Beautiful substrate. If it's your primary source of substrate, I would get 10 lbs for a five gallon.
amandamay24 · September 2026Perfect substrate
Great color, love the sandy rocky look. Great Price and arrived quickly. The size and weight of the granules is perfect for capping aqua soil and holding plants in the substrate and keeping them from uprooting and floating out. The bacteria cultures in it cycled my tank super quick and made a great environment for my betas and tetras. Will buy again for future tanks!!
Brian · January 2026I absolutely love this substrate
This is so easy to use, I just place it in my tank and it gets to work. The fact I don’t need to rinse it is probably my favorite part, along with how beautiful it looks in my nano tanks. 10 stars, will continue to purchase this substrate.
