PathwaysAbout aquarium sand
Which sand for which aquarium
Sugar White brightens a planted aquarium, Galaxy makes colour pop on a black floor, Delta and Prairie give natural brown and tan colors. All four suit freshwater aquariums, aquascapes, vivariums and terrariums, and come in a 10 lb bag, a 20 lb bag or a 4-pack.
Grain size
0.5–1 mm for Sugar White and 0.8–1.2 mm for Delta and Prairie — premium, pure natural grains with low fines, so the substrate settles fast and stays put. For gravel from 1 to 8 mm, see the gravel range.
